Jigme is the Secretary of the Government Technology (GovTech) Agency. He has been working in IT in the Public Sector and has focused on the adoption of IT in government, helping to define and shape the path of IT development in the country. He has worked as a system’s analyst transforming government systems and also managed technical teams in e-Government Innovation & transformation. His skills and experience enables him to guide and motivate the ICT fraternity to digitally transform public services in Bhutan, while also strengthening the domestic ICT & telecom Industry. He holds MSc in Information and Computer Science from the University of Oregon in the USA.
