Filippo is a Regional Senior Nutrition Advisor at the World Food Programme, Bangkok. Currently, he is providing strategic technical guidance to WFP Country Offices and their Governmental and Private Sector Partners (including donors) on how to fill the gap between evidence and policies, needed to prevent both over- and under-nutrition leveraging existing government national programmes, within the food systems, social protection systems, health systems and education systems.
Filippo made a mid-career change and obtained a master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition (MSc) and then a PhD in nutritional implementation research (PhD).
