Backed by institutional investment (DHI 75%) and international technical expertise (SCPL 25%), CHL combines advanced hatchery technology, biosecure farming systems, and Bhutan’s pristine Himalayan environment to produce high-quality crawfish for domestic and regional markets.

The company has already established a state-of-the-art hatchery and operational pond systems, successfully demonstrating commercial fry production. CHL is now scaling toward a fully integrated aquaculture platform with expanded grow-out capacity, processing infrastructure, and future farmer participation.

Beyond production, CHL aims to strengthen rural livelihoods, reduce import dependence, create skilled employment, and position Bhutan as an emerging player in premium aquaculture.
