Lemongrass Essential oil (60ml)

Distilled from Cymbopogon flexuosus, a species native to Bhutan, this certified organicoil is wild -harvested beneath Chir pine trees in the pristine mountains of Eastern Bhutan.  Steam distilled from freshly cut leaves, it has light, appealing lemony aroma and reddish -yellow to brown color. with over 70 % citral content. Is certified to E U organic standards.

It is invigorating,antiseptic, and widely used in aromatherapy, cosmetics and as natural insect repellent.

Blue Pine Essential oil (15ml)

Steam-distilled from the needles and twigs of Pinus wallichiana, an important timber tree native to Bhutan this pale-yellow oil is rich in α-pinene, β-pinene, and limonene, giving it a fresh, woody fragrance reminiscent of a forest.

The oil has antimicrobial, antiseptic, antifungal, and anti-rheumatic properties. When diffused, it purifies the air, uplifts mood, and promotes mental clarity.  It is particularly beneficial for respiratory conditions and can be blended with a carrier oil to relieve muscle and joint pain.

Artemisia Essential oil (15ml)

Commonly known as Mugwort, Bhutan’s Artemisia essential oil is pale yellow in color, obtained by steam distilling completely dried leaves. It has a powerful, long-lasting aroma with sweet, herbal, and bitter notes.

In small doses, it may be used to treat joint pain, cuts, and abrasions. It has also been used in folk medicine to improve digestion by stimulating bile excretion, and to treat anorexia by stimulating appetite.  It comes as a 100% pure oil in a 15ml glass bottle.

 

Eucalyptus essential oil (15ml)

This cooling, refreshing oil is steam-distilled from fresh and partially dried Eucalyptus leaves grown in Sherichu, Mongar Dzongkhag. It has a clear, characteristic camphoraceous woody scent with anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, deodorant, and antiseptic properties.

When diffused, it purifies the air and soothes the nerves. Topically, it is a popular addition to massage blends for its soothing and antibacterial qualities. It is also ideal as a surface cleaning agent for its purifying and clarifying properties.

 

Rhododendron essential oil (5 ml)

Steam-distilled from the aromatic leaves of Rhododendron anthopogon, wild-harvested at 3,300 to 5,000 meters in the high alpine mountains of Dagala, Bhutan. It carries an exotic floral fragrance with lingering sweet, fruity notes and has grounding, calming, and centering properties.

In herbal medicine, it has been used to support the respiratory system, alleviate inflammation-related pain, and for its antioxidant and skin-nourishing benefits. It is also helpful in reducing bacterial, fungal, and viral activity.

In Bhutanese culture, it is considered a sacred fragrant substance burned as an offering to harmonize the divine spirit — one of the five most revered mountain incense herbs.  The oil also provides vital income for semi-nomadic yak herder communities in remote Himalayan regions.

Zanthoxylum essential oil (15ml )

Extracted from the sun-dried fruits (pericarp) of Zanthoxylum armatum — locally known as “Thingye” this wild-harvested oil is steam-distilled using stainless steel units. Light yellow in color with a thin consistency, it offers an exotic, floral, alluring, and refreshing aroma, with high linalool and limonene content.

It is used in cosmetics, massage oil blends, aromatherapy, and as a natural mosquito repellent. When diffused at bedtime, it is deeply soothing to the nerves and beneficial for meditation.  It has also been used traditionally to support digestion, ease respiratory conditions, and calm an overstimulated nervous system.

 

Citrus essential oil (15ml)

Bio Bhutan’s Citrus essential oil is extracted from the peels of fresh oranges through steam distillation. It has an orange-yellow to orange-brown color with a fresh, sweet fragrance that is relaxing, calming, and uplifting.

In aromatherapy, diffusing the oil is known to have a calming and balancing effect on mood, particularly during anxiety, and when diffused before bedtime, it is said to promote quality sleep. Topically, it is traditionally used in massage to increase blood circulation and relieve stress.

Bio Bhutan’s Tsalung Massage Oil is centered around the prized Rhododendron anthopogon essential oil, wild-harvested from the high alpine mountains of Bhutan. Lemongrass ginger soap (100gm)

Bio Bhutan’s Lemongrass and Ginger soap is 100% handmade and natural, formulated based on the wisdom of the ancient Bhutanese healing tradition known as gso-ba-rig-pa (Knowledge of Healing). It contains natural antiseptic and skincare ingredients including pure cold-pressed mustard oil, ginger, lemongrass essential oil, coconut oil, and beeswax, with no animal fats or synthetic dyes.

It is free from chemical foaming agents, SLS, parabens, artificial color, and synthetic fragrance, and is fully biodegradable.  The soap is wrapped in traditional de-shog paper made from the bark of the Daphne plant, a beautifully authentic Bhutanese touch.

 

 

Rhododendron soap (100gm)

Rhododendron soap is 100% handmade and natural, containing natural antiseptic and skincare ingredients. It is made with Rhododendron anthopogon essential oil, cold-pressed mustard oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and lye, with no animal fats or synthetic dyes.

The prized Rhododendron essential oil is wild-harvested at 3,500 to 4,500 meters above sea level by semi-nomadic yak herders from the Dagala Mountains , giving the soap its exotic floral character. Formulated based on the ancient Bhutanese healing tradition of gso-ba-rig-pa, it is crafted to moisturize, nourish, and soften skin.  Available as a 100g bar wrapped in traditional Daphne bark paper.

 

Turmeric powder (45gm)

Bio Bhutan’s turmeric powder is grown under organic conditions by the Dakphel Women’s Group in Nangkor, Zhemgang District. The deep orange-yellow powder is commonly used as a spice in South Asian cuisines, as a coloring and flavoring agent, and as a dietary supplement.

Its active ingredient, curcumin, is hailed for helping with high cholesterol, depression, hay fever, and digestive issues. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is believed to act as an antiviral, antibacterial, and antiparasitic.  It is also popularly known as Indian Saffron and widely used as an affordable alternative to the expensive saffron spice.

Ginger powder (45gm)

Ginger powder is made from highly aromatic ginger grown under organic conditions by farmers at Dekiling, Sarpang District in Southern Bhutan. It is available in 45g user-friendly containers as well as in bulk powdered and preprocessed sliced form.

Its active component gingerhas been shown to alleviate arthritis pain and muscle aches, and studies suggest ginger can help reduce blood pressure. It is also traditionally used for stomach problems, most famously for preventing or stopping nausea.  It can be used as a spice and flavoring in cuisines and teas.
